CSIR-IMMT Recruitment 2024 Qualifications Details

• Senior Project Associate: M.Sc. in Geology, Four years of relevant experience in research and development in industry/academic or S&T organizations or Ph.D. in Geology
• Project Associate – II: M.Sc. in Chemistry, Two years of relevant experience in research and development in industry/academic or S&T organizations.
• Project Assistant: Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
• Project Associate - I: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry
• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Sc. in Chemistry with valid CSIR – UGC NET/GATE score. or B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering with valid CSIR – UGC NET/GATE score.
• Project Assistant: Diploma in Metallurgy.
• Senior Project Associate: M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/Instrume ntation Engineering/ Computer Science, Two years of relevant experience in research and development in industry/academic or S&T organizations.

CSIR-IMMT Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

• The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/PWD/Woman candidates whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-Creamy layer candidates) as per Govt. of India norms

CSIR-IMMT Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale

• Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA as per rule
• Project Associate – II: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA as per rule for candidates having valid CSIR – UGC NET(Including lectureship/Asst. Professorship)/ GATE score or Selected through national level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies/ institutions such as DST,DBT,DAE, DOS, DRDO, IISER, NISER etc
• Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA as per rule.
• Project Associate - I: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA as per rule.
• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 31,000/- + HRA as per rule
• Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000/ - + HRA as per rule

CSIR-IMMT Recruitment 2024 General Information

• The applicant must be a citizen of India
• All the above posts are tenable at CSIR – IMMT, Bhubaneswar. The project staff may be required to travel as per the need of the project
• The engagement of project staffs would be governed by the guidelines relating to engagement of project staff in CSIR Projects including NMITLI projects, OLP/MLP, contract R&D and non-CSIR funded Projects issued by DST/CSIR/sponsoring agency
• Before applying for the post, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility and other criteria. Recruitment authorities would be free to reject application not fulfilling the requisite criteria, at any stage of recruitment.
• Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post need to apply separately for each position.
• The date for determining age/essential qualification and experience shall be the last date of submission of application. Result awaiting candidates are not eligible for apply.
• The applications received will be screened for short-listing the candidates as per the criteria fixed by the Competent Authority. Mere fulfilling of minimum qualification by itself would not entail any right to be called for interview.
• Eligible applicants will be interviewed online and the date and time of online interview will be intimated in due course of time. Applicants are requested to follow the CSIR - IMMT website regularly for any update
• The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects. The engagement in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for consideration for regularization against any CSIR/CSIR - IMMT post(s). Engagement may be terminated at any time at a notice of one month from either side or one month Emoluments in lieu thereof
• Based on the performance of the candidates, selection committee will recommend final selection and may also make Panels for operation in future depending on the need of the projects.
• The above positions are purely temporary and initial offer for engagement in any project shall be for a period of maximum one year or up to the duration of the project whichever is earlier. However, the engagement may be extended or curtailed depending upon the duration of the project and (or) performance of the candidate
