The CSIR - Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP) has announced a recruitment notification for a Senior Project Associate position. The vacancy is for one post with an age limit of 40 years and offers a salary of ₹42,000 plus HRA.

Eligible candidates must have a Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences with four years of relevant research experience, or a Ph.D. in the same fields with work related to Microbial Fermentation and Process Development. The appointment is initially for six months to a year and may be extended based on project requirements and performance.

Applications must be submitted online via a Google Form available on the IIP website from June 14 to June 28, 2024. The selection process will involve an interview, with a potential written examination if necessary. Qualification For CSIR - IIP Recruitment 2024

• Masters degree in Biotechnology/Biochemical Engg. / Chemical Engg/ Pharmaceutical and 4 years of research experience in Microbial Fermentation/Process Development.
• Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Biochemical Engg. /Chemical Engg./Pharmaceutical. Ph.D. work should be related to the Microbial Fermentation and process development.

General Terms & Conditions For CSIR - IIP Recruitment 2024

• Engagement will initially be for a period of six months/one year depending upon the project requirement, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the project/desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
• Tenure of engagement of the Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five years duration taken into consideration engagement in all CSIR Labs.
• The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that any one not found up to the mark, could be terminated without assigning any reason.
• All these positions are temporary and are on behalf of the sponsors and, therefore, does not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit for absorption on any post in CSIR-IIP/CSIR.
• Candidates have option to reply in Hindi during the interview.
• On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and "No Demand Certificate" in the previous project.
• Houre Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid as per rules and only if there is provision of HRA in the concerned project. If accommodation is provided, licence fee, water and electricity charges would be deducted as per CSIR rules.
• The Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave as per rules.
• Experience, where required, will be calculated from the date of acquiring minimum educational qualification. 9. Final semester and result awaited candidates are not eligible for above mentioned positions. 10. For the positions where Ph.D. is essential qualification only Ph.D. awarded candidates may apply. Ph.D.
• (submitted) are not eligible. Ph.D. work can be taken as experience after Masters Degree. 11. Shortlisted candidates or candidates from far flung areas may send a request on email [email protected] for appearing for the interview online.
• TA/DA will not be paid for appearing in walk-in-interivew or for reporting to duty after selection.
• The panel of Project Staff may be prepared for future requirements, if any.
• The Director, CSIR-IIP reserves the right to not to fill any or all advertised posts.
• Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification for the positions.

• Google Form will be available on our website from 14.06.2024 to 28.06.2024.
• Relaxation in Age limit: Relaxation in age limit will be given as per Govt. of India Rules. Mode of Selection: Selection is to be done on the basis of Interview; however, written examination may be conducted, if required. Syllabus of the written examination would be from the concerned subject.
• Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online through the Google Form for which link is given on CSIR-IIP website.
• The duly constituted Screening Committee will screen the online application of the candidates with respect to the data provided by the candidates.
• Mere fullfing of minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Interview. If large number of applications received, the Screening Committee may adopt its own criteria for shortlisting the candidates to be called for Interview.
• This institute reserves the rights to call for Interview only those candidates who in its opinion are likely to be sutaible and will not entrertain any correspondence in this regard. The candidates should, therefore, mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum prescribed qualification.
• Notification regarding details of shortlisted candidates to be called for Interview Online/Offline alongwith the criterion adopted by the Screening Committee and any updates shall be displayed only on Institute website http://www.iip.res.in from time to time.
• All future corrigendum/addendum/notification etc. and announcements/details pertaining to this recruitment process shall be published/provided ONLY on https://www.iip.res.in from time to time. Candidates are advised to visit Institute website regularly for updates.
• If on documents verification stage, any candidate is found ineligible, he/she will not be allowed to appear for the Interview.
