The CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu, invites eligible and highly motivated candidates for a walk-in interview for a temporary position in an ICMR-funded project titled "Targeted nano-carrier based tumor-associated macrophage polarization and rationally designed natural product mediated strategy for improved triple negative breast cancer therapy" (Project Id: IIRP-23/4760).

The position available is for a Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical), with one vacancy. The essential qualification required is a first-class Post-Graduate Degree in Pharmaceutics (MPharm/MSPharm) from a recognized university, or a second-class Post-Graduate Degree in Pharmaceutics (MPharm/MSPharm) with Ph.D. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in new drug delivery systems or those with GPAT/GATE qualification in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The upper age limit for the position is 35 years, and the monthly emoluments offered are ₹56,000/- plus 18% HRA. The engagement tenure will be co-terminus with the project, which is up to 28.02.2025. • Second-class Post-Graduate Degree in Pharmaceutics (MPharm/MSPharm) with Ph.D.
• Experience in the area of new drug delivery systems or GPAT/GATE qualification in Pharmaceutical Sciences will be preferred.

Important Instructions for CSIR-IIIM Recruitment 2024

• Age will be reckoned as on the date of the Interview
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI/CSIR Instructions. Candidates belonging to these categories should send the certificates in the presribed format issued by the appropriate authority as per the latest instructions issued on the subject
• Age relaxation for Widows, Divorced Women, and Women Judicially separated from Husbands who have not remarried since, as per GOI/ CSIR provisions
• In case a large number of candidates apply, the Screening Committee may re-visit the screening criteria and shortlist the candidates for interview in proportion to the available vacancies
• Candidate has the option to interact in English/Hindi before the Selection Committee.
• The position is purely temporary on a contract basis and co-terminus with the Project.
• In case the final certificates reflect CGPA/SGPA/OGPA Grades, the candidate should convert the same into an equivalent percentage as per the approved formula of the University in the Google Form, and a copy of such conversion must be attached along with the google form.
• To avoid any inconvenience, only those candidates who strictly fulfill the eligibility criteria and possess the degrees/mark sheets in the subjects above should apply for the interview.
• Upon selection/empanelment, the original documents, including eligibility qualification, DOB, caste, and age relaxation certificate, will be verified; if any discrepancy is found, the selection/empanelment shall stand canceled.
• It is clarified that the engagement of all project staff in different projects either in the same Lab./Instt. or different Labs./Instts. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 5 years in any case. If at later stage any fudging/fraud in this regard is found, legal action as warranted under rules shall be taken against the wrongdoer. Candidates are required to submit undertaking (attached with the Google Form) in this regard

How to Apply for CSIR-IIIM Recruitment 2024

• Application for the position can be filled out online at Google Forms link
• The filled-up Google Form should be submitted by or before 09 th April 2024 (Tuesday) up to 5:00 PM. Application Forms after the scheduled date and time shall not be entertained for the interview
• Only eligible candidates shall be accessed for the viva voce on the date of the interview. The list of eligible candidates and the date for the interview will be displayed on the CSIR-IIIM Website, www.iiim.res.in, by the evening of 12 th April 2024 (Friday). All shortlisted candidates will be required to send scanned copies of certificates in a single PDF file through email to [email protected] by 5:00 PM on 16th April 2024 (Tuesday)
• Eligible/shortlisted candidates shall attend the walk-in interview at Board Room, CSIR-IIIM, Jammu. The shortlisted candidates have to be available on the date of Interview from 09:30 A.M. onwards
