The Regional Research and Coordination Centre has announced a vacancy for the position of Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) under the project titled 'Study of infection dynamics of Leishmania donovani in the presence of Lepsey NLV1 virus', sponsored by ICMR.
The position requires a Ph.D. with specialization in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology, along with desirable experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques, working with mouse models, and Leishmaniasis. The age limit for the position is 35 years, and the selected candidate will receive a stipend of Rs. 67,000/- per month plus 27% HRA.
The engagement is temporary and co-terminus with the project, with no guarantee of regularization or absorption into any IICB/CSIR post. Interested candidates must appear for a walk-in interview on 21st May 2024, at CSIR-IICB Jadavpur Campus, following the prescribed application process and submitting relevant documents. The Institute retains the right to select or reject candidates without providing any reason. Additionally, adherence to Covid-19 protocols is mandatory for all applicants.
