A position for Project Associate-I (PA-I) or Project Associate-II (PA-II) is available under GAP 2148, advertised with Advt. No.: MSST/SK/2024/01. For PA-I, applicants must possess an M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent, with selection through national eligibility tests like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE, offering a monthly emolument of Rs 31,000 plus HRA. PA-II requires the same qualifications as PA-I along with 2 years' experience in research and development, offering a monthly emolument of Rs 35,000 plus HRA.
The maximum age limit for both positions is 35 years, with age relaxation applicable as per CSIR rules. The engagement is temporary and co-terminus with the project, with a maximum duration of 5 years across all CSIR projects.

Project Associate-I (PA-I): M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent with scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
Project Associate-II (PA-II): M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent with scholars who are selected through National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR A selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their agencies and institutions. and 2 years’ experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.
