CSB Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Scientist - B Vacancies, Check Eligibility at csb.gov.in
The Central Silk Board (CSB) has announced its recruitment drive for 2024, inviting applications for 122 Scientist - B positions. Candidates interested in applying must hold a Master's degree in Science or Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university.
The recruitment process will include candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) - 2024 examination. The age limit for applicants is set at 35 years as of the closing date, September 5, 2024. The selected candidates will be offered a salary ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500, in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (7th CPC), with additional allowances as per Central Government rules.
Interested candidates should apply online through the CSB website at csb.gov.in. An application fee of Rs. 1,000 is required for candidates belonging to the Unreserved/EWS/OBC/Ex-Serviceman categories, while SC/ST/PWD and female candidates are exempt.
The online application process includes uploading a photo and signature and paying the fee at any India Post office against a generated challan. The last date for submission of online applications is September 5, 2024, with the fee payment deadline extended to September 6, 2024. Qualifications Details for CSB Recruitment 2024
Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Science or Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences from a recognized University. All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for the post.
No enquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained. Note: The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for an Interview/Selection process.

- Candidates Belonging to Unreserved/ews/obc/ex-serviceman Category Are Required to Pay a Non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only Excluding Taxes).
- The Sc/st/pwbd and Female Candidates Need Not Pay the Registration Fee. There is No Exemption for Payment of Fees in Any Other Category.

- Candidates Should Click on the "Job Opportunities" Under Csb's Website Www.csb.gov.in They Should Keep Ready Their Information Bulletin for Icar Aice-jrf/srf(Ph.d) - 2024 Score Card, Admit Card Application & Roll Number Before Applying as It is Mandatory to Fill the Score Card and Admit Card Details.

- Last Date for Receipt of Online Application: 05th September, 2024. No Other Mode of Application Shall Be Accepted.
- Candidate would submit the data online. b. He/she would be prompted to upload the photo and signature Once completed, he/she would be prompted to generate the challan. C. d. Payment is to be made at any office of India Post (Bharatiya Dak), against the printed copy of the challan. Last date of payment of Fee is 06.09.2024.
