Qualification for CRIDA Recruitment 2024
Research Associate
- Essential: (a) Ph.D. in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering / Land and Water Management Engineering / Water resource engineering/ Computer Applications/ IT/ Geoinformatics & Surveying Technology/Remote Sensing and GIS or equivalent [OR]
- Master’s degree in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering / Land and Water Management Engineering / Water resource engineering/ / Computer Applications/ IT/ Geoinformatics & Surveying Technology/Remote Sensing and GIS or equivalent with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/other engagements
- Desirable: Those with 3 years’ Bachelor’s degree in Basic Sciences must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification, equivalent, or Ph.D. in any of the given disciplines.
- One research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated (≥ 4.0) Journal Experience in drought monitoring, modelling, programming with Python/R, Remote Sensing with GEE platform is desirable.
Young Professional-II :
- Essential: Master’s Degree in any of the following subjects with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having First Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 2 years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements Agrometeorology/ Agronomy/ Soil & Water Conservation Engineering / Land and Water Management Engineering / Water resource engineering/ / Computer Applications/ IT/ Geoinformatics Surveying Technology/Remote Sensing and GIS or equivalent
- Desirable: Experience in crop modeling (DSSAT preferably), GIS, programming with Python/R is desirable
- Candidates with Published research papers are desirable
Salary for CRIDA Recruitment 2024
- Research Associate : Rs. 49000/- per month + HRA for Masters’ degree holders and & Rs. 54,000/- + HRA for PhD holders
- Young Professional-II : Rs.42,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Walk-In Interview Details for CRIDA Recruitment 2024
- Eligible candidates may present themselves for a Walk-in-Interview on 1 st April, 2024 at ICAR- CRIDA, Santoshnagr, Hyderabad- 500 059, latest by 1030 hrs.
- Candidates reporting after 1030 hrs will not be entertained.
- Candidates possessing prescribed qualifications will only be considered for an interview.
- They should bring along with them a filled-in application form in the attached proforma along with one set of self attested copies of certificates related to qualification / age / experience etc. All original certificates should be presented for verification.
- The date of interview shall be the crucial date for determining age and educational qualification.
- No TA /DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Decision of Director ICAR – CRIDA shall be final and binding on applicants.
