Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) has announced a recruitment notification for the position of Field Assistant, with one vacancy available. The walk-in interview for this position will be held at ICAR-CPCRI, Kasaragod, under the project "Area Wide Demonstration of Cinnamon Cultivation in Coconut."
The essential educational qualifications for this role include VHSE (Agriculture) or Diploma in Agriculture, with desirable experience in fieldwork and data collection from farmers, proficiency in using computers (MS Office), and proficiency in the Kannada language. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in fieldwork and managing demonstration plots in farmers' gardens in Dakshina Kannada and Uduppi District of Karnataka, along with data collection and other assigned tasks.
The remuneration offered for this position is Rs. 15,000/- per month, on a contractual basis. The walk-in interview is scheduled for 02.05.2024, and candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are required to attend the interview at the specified venue with their bio-data and original as well as copies of certificates. Latecomers will not be entertained, and no TA will be provided for attending the interview.

- Those who do not furnish the Original or Provisional Certifcate will not be allowed to appear for the practical test/written test/ interview.
- No TA will be paid for the journey for attending the interview.
- CPCRI, Kasaragod is situated 5 kms away from Kasaragod Railway Station and on the NH 17 towards Mangalore. (Working hours 09.00 am to 05.30 pm)
