Container Corporation of India has released its 2024 recruitment notification for the position of Group General Manager (Technical) based in Delhi. The role is open to SAG/NF-SAG/SG Officers of the IRSME cadre with at least 17 years of Group "A" service.
Candidates must have experience in the installation, commissioning, or maintenance of machinery and plant related to diesel locomotives and rolling stock, with a desirable familiarity with procurement processes. The selected candidate will receive a pay scale of ₹1,20,000-2,80,000 (IDA Scale) along with the salary of the parent department plus a deputation allowance.

Qualifications Details for Container Corporation of India Recruitment 2024
- SAG/NF-SAG/SG Officer of IRSME cadre who has completed minimum 17 years of Group "A" service will be designated as GGM (Tech.)
- The Officer should have experience in: a. Installation, commissioning of machinery and plant or maintenance of machinery and plant for diesel locomotive (Shed/Workshop/PU) for three years. b. Rolling stock Diesel sheds and wagon maintenance. c. Familiarity with procurement process is desirable.
Pay Scale for Container Corporation of India Recruitment 2024
- Rs 1,20,000-3%-2,80,000 (E-8) (IDA Scale)
- (As per extant Govt. Directive, the officer will draw the salary of the parent department plus deputation allowance)
Selection Process for Container Corporation of India Recruitment 2024
