Qualification, Vacancy, Age Limit, Pay Scale for Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2024
1. Position: Deputy Manager
2. No. of Vacancies: 03
3. Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University
- Master Degree in Business Administration with minimum of 60% marks. OR Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration/ Management (Two years) with minimum of 60% marks.
- Degree in Mechanical /Electrical/ Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University
4. Pay scale: Rs. 50,000-3%-1,60,000
Method of Selection for Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2024
(a) The selection process will take place either at CMSRU, Mumbai, or via interviews conducted through electronic media.
(b) The selection method will involve a Power Point Presentation, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. Provisionally shortlisted candidates must deliver a Power Point Presentation highlighting their work experience, limited to a duration of ten minutes. The selection committee will assess the work experience based on submitted documents and the presentation. Subsequently, candidates will be further shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on the Power Point Presentation.
(c) CSL retains the right to review applications for the posts and create a shortlist of candidates based on their eligibility, validated through submitted certificates. Only the shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be permitted to participate in the selection process.
Application Fee for Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2024
(i) Application fee of Rs.1,000/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/UPI etc.) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 03 January 2024 to 31 January 2024. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
(ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.
(iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable, i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD, should pay the application fee as stipulated in the above clause. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee.

- Prospective applicants are advised to review the User Manual and FAQ available at www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page -> CMSRU, Mumbai) before commencing the online application process.
- The application procedure involves two phases: One-time Registration and submission of the application for the relevant post. Each applicant should refrain from submitting multiple applications as the submitted application will be considered final once submitted.
- Eligible candidates meeting the specified requirements should complete the One-time Registration on the SAP Online portal and proceed to submit their applications.
- The application submission facility can be accessed via www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page -> CMSRU, Mumbai) between January 3, 2024, and January 31, 2024. Applications sent directly or through any other mode will not be accepted.
- Applicants must ensure accurate completion of all entries in the online application and successful submission.
- Any modifications to the provided data after the final online submission will not be entertained. Providing irrelevant or incorrect information in any field may result in the rejection of the application.
- Upon successful submission, applicants should retain a soft copy or printout of the online application containing the unique registration number generated by the system for future reference.
- Note that the unique registration number is issued only upon successful submission of the online application. This Registration Number should be cited in any correspondence with CSL
