The ICAR-CMFRI, Veraval Regional Station, Gujarat, is seeking applications for the position of Young Professional-I (1 post) under the project "Seaweed farming feasibility assessment and exploration of promotional activities along Indo-Pak border marine creeks Kori, and Padala including other selected locations at Kutch Coast, Gujarat".
This project, funded by the Ministry of Fisheries Animal Husbandry & Dairying, is of highest priority, monitored by the Prime Minister’s Office. Applicants must hold a graduate degree in relevant disciplines with experience in seaweed farming/mariculture and on-site hydro-biological sample collection.
The position offers a consolidated emolument of ₹30,000/- per month. Applications, accompanied by relevant documents, should be submitted via email to [email protected] by May 3, 2024. Qualification for CMFRI Recruitment 2024
- Graduate in B.FSc / BSc., in Fisheries Science / Mariculture / Environmental Science / Marine Biology/ Zoology / Biological Sciences or equivalent disciplines with 1st class or above 60% marks.
- Experience in seaweed farming/mariculture.
- Experience in on-site hydro-biological sample collection and analysis.
- Working experience in tough-geographic locations.
Salary for CMFRI Recruitment 2024
- The total emoluments for the position of Young Professional-I amount to ₹30,000 per month, on a consolidated basis.
- This means that the salary does not include any additional allowances or benefits beyond the stated amount.
