CMFRI Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Research Fellow Vacancies , Check Eligibility at cmfri.org.in

CMFRI is conducting interviews for the selection of two Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) in Chemistry for the ICAR Norman Borlaug Award Challenge project. The interviews will be held in person at CMFRI, Kochi, on April 29, 2024.

The JRF positions are purely temporary for five years or the project's termination, offering a monthly fellowship of Rs. 31,000 plus 18% HRA for NET-CSIR/UGC NET or GATE qualified candidates, and Rs. 25,000 plus 18% HRA for others. Applicants must have a Master's degree in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry with research experience in chemical laboratories, and hands-on expertise in chromatographic/spectroscopic techniques.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email by August 27, 2024, and must attend the interview with original certificates. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.

Qualification for CMFRI Recruitment 2024

• Essential: Minimum qualification of Master’s Degree in basic/natural discipline of Chemistry/Organic Chemistry with an experience in research in chemical/chemistry laboratories supported by project document/s.
• The candidate should have hands-on experience in chromatographic/spectroscopic techniques.
• Basic and applied knowledge of scientific analysis in chemistry/organic chemistry/chemical sciences.

Salary for CMFRI Recruitment 2024

• 31,000/- per month + 18% HRA to scholars selected through through NET-CSIR/UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or
• A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Govt departments and their agencies/institutions OR
• 25,000/- per month + 18% HRA who are not NET/CSIR-UGC qualified, and do not fall under (The House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be given as per existing Central Government rates applicable in Kochi, Kerala).

Age Limit for CMFRI Recruitment 2024

• Upper Age limit of JRF: 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on last date of application
