CLW Recruitment 2024: New Notification Out, Check Post, Salary, Qualification, Age Limit And Application Procedure
Applications are invited for Act Apprentices under the Apprentice Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962, for the year 2024-2025. Candidates fulfilling the conditions mentioned in the notification are eligible to apply. To apply, candidates must be registered on apprenticeshipindia.org, and all required documents should be uploaded on the portal.
Engagement of Act Apprentices will be done based on registration on the portal, with candidates registered up to April 5, 2024, 24:00 hrs considered eligible. The training period and stipend will be as per the extant rules and directives issued by the Railway Board.

Qualification for CLW Recruitment 2024
- Candidate must pass out ITI Examination (NCVT) (final or provisional certificate) and must have the certificate in the notified trades for applying under point-1(A) of this notification.
- Candidate must pass in Matriculation/10th class in 10+2 examination system or equivalent examination from Recognized Board, i.e. Board which are recognized by the "Council of Boards of School Education in India" (COBSE) only, for applying under Point- 1(A) of this notification.
Pay Scale for CLW Recruitment 2024
The training period and stipend for the Act Apprentices will be determined in accordance with the existing rules and directives issued by the Railway Board, subject to periodic updates.
Age Limit for CLW Recruitment 2024
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years, as on 27-03-2024 a) The UR candidates should born between 27-03-2000 to 27-03-2009. b) The OBC candidates should born between 27-03-1997 to 27-03-2009. c) The SC & ST candidates should born between 27-03-1995 to 27-03-2009.
Selection Procedure for CLW Recruitment 2024
- There will be no written examination or interview/oral exam in this selection. Engagement of Act Apprentices will be done only on the basis of merit list on the basis of marks obtained in Class-X examination, provided in the portal.
- Such shortlisted Candidates will be informed through registered email and mobile number by way of issuing call letters.
- Candidates will have to accept the same and submit acceptance through portal. No extra weightage shall be granted to candidates having higher qualification.
- If the notified slot of engagement of candidates will not be filled up for any reasons or after verification of original testimonials then only a second list may be issued to make good of the short fall.
How to Apply for CLW Recruitment 2024
The applicants should be registered apprenticeshipindia.org and all documents should be uploaded in the portal. The same will be verified at the time of engagement. Engagement Of Act Apprentice Will Be From The Following Sources: Should be registered in the portal www.apprenticeshipindia.org. The candidates, who register themselves up to, 05-04-2024, 24.00 hrs will be treated as eligible.
