The Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) is conducting walk-in interviews for the position of Research Associate on April 16, 2024, at 11:00 hrs., at ICAR-CIRB, Sirsa Road, Hisar (Haryana). The recruitment aims to fill one vacancy, offering a salary ranging from Rs. 49,000 to Rs. 54,000 per month along with House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Animal Genetics and Breeding, Biochemistry, Reproduction, Microbiology, or Life Sciences, with relevant research experience and publications. Desirable qualifications include experience in cell/tissue culture, IVF, cloned embryo culture, stem cell culture, or molecular biology.
The upper age limit for male candidates is 40 years and 45 years for female candidates, with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC categories. Eligible candidates should bring original certificates, a typed bio-data, and attested copies of certificates with a passport-size photograph. Travel allowances will not be provided for attending the interview. Selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment at the Institute.

Qualification for CIRB Recruitment 2024
- Ph.D. degree Biotechnology/Molecular Biologyl Physiology/Animal Genetics and Breeding/Biochemistry/ Reproduction/Microbiology or Life Sciences.
- Or Master's degree in Biotechnology/Molecular Biologyl Physiology/Animal Genetics and Breeding/ Biochemistry/ Reproduction Microbiology Life Sciences with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/ Training other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and one research paper in science citation index/NAAS rated.
- Desirable: Experience of cell/tissue culture/IVF/cloned embryo culturel stem cells culture/molecular biology
Pay Scale for CIRB Recruitment 2024
For CIRB Recruitment 2024, the pay scale is as follows:
- For candidates with a PhD degree, the emoluments are set at Rs. 54,000 per month along with House Rent Allowance (HRA).
- For candidates with a master's degree, the emoluments are Rs. 49,000 per month along with House Rent Allowance (HRA).
