CIPET, also known as the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology, has announced recruitment for Assistant Professors or Lecturers and Assistant Librarian positions in Lucknow. There are a total of 10 vacancies available.
The salary ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, depending on the position. Interested candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format along with necessary documents by Speed Post to the Principal Director, CIPET:IPT-Lucknow, before the deadline of 05.04.2024.

Qualifications Details for CIPET Recruitment 2024
- Assistant Professor: (Plastic Engineering & Technology) Full time 1st Class B.E/B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech. in Plastics / Polymer Technology / Engineering discipline from a recognized University, At least 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline.
- Assistant Professor (Plastic Engineering & Technology) Full time 1st Class B.E/B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech. in Plastics / Polymer Technology / Engineering discipline from a recognized University, and; Ph.D in relevant Discipline
- Full time Master's Degree with good academic record with First Class or an equivalent GPA in Education/Sociology/Psychology from Indian Universities.
- Besides fulfilling the qualification, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
- Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointments of Assistant Professors Or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges /Institutions.
- Assistant Professor (Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering) Full time 1st Class B.E/B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech. in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering discipline from a recognized University, At least 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline
- Assistant Professor (Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering) Full time 1st Class B.E/B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech. in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering discipline from a recognized University, and; Ph.D in relevant Discipline
- Assistant Professor (Computer Science) Full time 1st Class B.E/B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Engineering discipline from a recognized University, At least 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline.
- Assistant Professor (Computer Science) Full time 1st Class B.E/B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Engineering discipline from a recognized University, and; Ph.D in relevant Discipline
- Assistant Professor (Electrical & Electronics) Full time 1st Class B.E/B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering discipline from a recognized University, At least 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline
- Lecturer: Lecturer (Plastic Engineering & Technology) Full time Bachelor’s degree with First Class or equivalent in Plastics / Polymer Technology / Plastics Engineering. If the candidate has a full time Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology, First Class or equivalent is required at full time Bachelors or Master’s level.
- Full time Bachelor’s degree with First Class or equivalent in Plastics / Polymer Technology / Plastics Engineering. If the candidate has a full time Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology, First Class or equivalent is required at full time Bachelors or Master’s level; and Ph.D in relevant Discipline
- Assistant Librarian: Full time First Class B.Lib.Sc./ B.Lib.I.Sc with Post Graduate Diploma in Library Science/Information Science with typing/PC Operation.
