The Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) is conducting a walk-in interview for the position of Young Professional-I (01 No.) on May 2, 2024, at CIFT, Cochin. The position is temporary, contracted for the INFAAR project focusing on antimicrobial resistance in microorganisms associated with Fisheries and Aquaculture in India.
Candidates must hold a first-class Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related life sciences, with experience in testing. The emoluments for the position are Rs. 30,000 per month.
The age limit for candidates is between 21 to 45 years. Interested candidates are required to register between 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the day of the interview and must bring all relevant documents for verification.

Qualification for CIFT Recruitment 2024
- First class Bachelors’ degree in the field of Microbiology/ Biotechnology or any life sciences with experience in the field of testing.
- Experience on Antimicrobial resistance and handling of bacteria and molecular techniques.
- Excellent computer documentation and analytical skills. Prior experience in handling microbial cultures and molecular techniques.
Salary for CIFT Recruitment 2024
- Eligible candidates are cordially invited to participate in a walk-in interview for the temporary position of Young Professional-I (01 No.).
- The emoluments for this role are Rs. 30,000 per month, consolidated.
- Please ensure to bring all relevant documents along for the interview.
Age Limit for CIFT Recruitment 2024
- Candidates should be above 21 years and maximum of 45 years as on date of interview.
- Age relaxation as per rule
- Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible
Selection Procedure for CIFT Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidate will be recruited on contract basis under ICAR norms. The post is purely temporary.
- The candidate attending the interview should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions.
- No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for
- selection/test/appointment.
- Candidates already employed should submit “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer while attending the interview.
- No TA/DA will pay to attend the interview
Walk-In Interview Details for CIFT Recruitment 2024
- The candidate should at least hold a Provisional Certificate in r/o. Graduation/ Professional Courses. (website results/ result awaiting candidates will not be considered)
- Candidates are required to submit detailed bio-data (in the enclosed format) affixing a recent passport size photograph along with attested copies of all the Certificates in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, experience, Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC etc.
