Qualification For CIFE Recruitment 2024
- Master's degree in Fisheries Science/Life Sciences with 4 years' Bachelor's degree.
- Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic sciences with 3 years' Bachelor degree and 2 year Master's degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of experience.
- Candidates having hands on experience on shrimp farming, water quality analysis, data interpretation, shrimp nutrition
- 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average in Master's degree.
- Application with complete Master degree supported by at least provisional degree certificate will only be considered.
Salary Details For CIFE Recruitment 2024
- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for 1st year and 2nd year. Rs.35,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year

Walk-In Interview Details For CIFE Recruitment 2024
- A walk-in-interview is scheduled on 24-05-2024 from 11:00 AM onwards at ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai for selection of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on contractual basis under the ICAR Project 'ICAR-NASF project "Environmental and nutritional intervention to farm white leg shrimp, Penaeus vannamei in low saline water (LSW): A strategy for improving aquaculture production'.
- Interested candidates should bring their Bio-Data, two passport size photographs and one set of self-attested copies of the entire certificates/Marks Sheets/Experience certificate.
- Above position is purely temporary (33 months from 1st June 2024)
- The tenure and service conditions for SRF will be governed by ICAR guidelines.
- Only the candidates, who fulfill all the eligibility conditions, will be allowed to appear in the interview.
- Place of work will be at ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai, however, extensive field visits will be there.
- Candidates are requested to be present 10 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The selection will be based on academic performance, research experience and performance during the interview.
- Wherever age-related relaxations are claimed on account of category & previous employment or any other as applicable under GOI norms, the certificates are to be produced along with documents.
- The decision of Director, ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai will be final and binding in all aspects.
