Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB) announces a walk-in-interview on April 30, 2024, for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). The fellowship, funded by the industry through CIAB, offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000 along with HRA or hostel facility.
Candidates should possess an M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields, along with qualifications such as NET/GATE/GPAT. The project, led by Dr. Jayeeta Bhaumik, aims to develop lignin-based biomaterials to replace plastic. Qualification for CIAB Recruitment 2024
- M.Sc. in Chemistry (any discipline) or biotechnology or M.S. (Pharma)/ M.Tech in Medicinal Chemistry/Process/ Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent degrees in relevant fields from a recognized University/Institute And

- The applications should be submitted in the prescribed format that can be downloaded from the CIAB website: www.ciab.res.in.
- The interested candidates may appear for a Walk-In-Interview on 30-04-2024 along with the application form available on the website www.ciab.res.in.
- The duly filled application form must be submitted at the time of the registration from 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM on 30-04-2024.
- The candidates must ascertain their eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates would not be interviewed.
- The eligible applicants would be interviewed by a duly constituted committee.
- The committee would recommend the candidates, if found suitable, for consideration of the competent authority for engagement on purely on Fellowship/Stipendiary basis
- Candidates should bring their original documents for verification and one set of photocopy (for submission) of their all relevant certificates related to education, experience, publications, thesis/dissertations etc. at the time of interview.
