Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), headquartered in Ranchi, Jharkhand, was established on 1st November 1975 following the amalgamation of three divisions of Coal Mines Authority Ltd. (CMAL). As a vital entity under the Ministry of Coal, CCL plays a pivotal role in the production and distribution of coal.
