CBI, SCB, Lucknow intends engage/appoint Special Public Prosecutor for CBI, SCB, Lucknow branch. In this regard, applications are invited from the eligible advocates for engagement as Special Public Prosecutors in CBI to conduct trial of CBI cases in Trial Courts in Chandauli and Juvenile Justice Board, Varanasi
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is hiring Special Public Prosecutors for its Lucknow branch to handle criminal cases in the Trial Courts of Chandauli and the Juvenile Justice Board of Varanasi. Eligible candidates must hold an LLB degree, be enrolled with the Bar Council, and possess at least 10 years of experience in handling criminal cases in Sessions Courts. The position requires a demonstrated history of managing important cases and a willingness to work under the terms set by the Government of India.
Interested candidates should submit their applications online through the official CBI website before the 14th of October, 2024. The application must include educational certificates, proof of Bar Council enrollment, a list of notable cases handled, and an expression of willingness to work under the specified conditions. Late or offline submissions will not be considered.

Qualification for CBI Recruitment 2024
The following eligibility criteria may be considered carefully by the applicant while submitting the application for the appointment/engagement of CBI, Special Public Prosecutors to conduct trial of CBI cases in Trial Court at Chandauli and Juvenile Justice Board, Varanasi.
- Educational Qualifications: LLB
- Enrollment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
- Experience at BAR of handling Criminal matters in Sessions courts.
- An unconditional willingness/consent to work on the general terms and conditions approved by Government of India
- A minimum experience of 10 years as an Advocate with experience in handling criminal matters.
Documents for CBI Recruitment 2024
- Copies of Educational Qualifications.
- Copy of Enrollment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Counsel.
- Experience at BAR of handling criminal matters in Session Courts.
- An unconditional willingness/consent to work on the general terms and conditions, approved by Government of India.
- List of important cases handled by the applicant Advocate.
