CBI, ACB Mumbai seeks to appoint Special Public Prosecutors to handle CBI cases in Special Courts across various districts of Maharashtra, as well as Silvasa and Daman (U.T.). Eligible advocates are invited to apply for this engagement, with professional fees determined according to DoPT guidelines.
The eligibility criteria include an LLB degree, enrollment as an advocate, significant experience in handling criminal matters in Sessions Courts, and a minimum of 10 years' standing as an advocate. Eligibility Criteria for CBI Recruitment 2024
- Educational Qualification: LLB
- Enrollment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
- Experience at BAR of handling Criminal matters in Sessions Courts.
- An unconditional willingness/consent to work on the general terms and conditions approved by Government of India from time to time.
- Details of important cases handled by the applicant Advocates.
- A minimum standing of 10 years as an Advocate is required for considering an Advocate for CBI Special Public Prosecutor, who have experience in handling Criminal Matters.
Pay Scale for CBI Recruitment 2024
The position entails a minimum commitment of three years, focusing on overseeing the trials of all pending CBI cases in the designated courts. The remuneration for advocates will adhere to the terms outlined in the DoPT F. No. 225/19/2023- AVD-II dated 08.04.2024, as specified.
