CBI Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Accounts Officer Vacancies, Check Eligibility at cbi.gov.in
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has released the CBI Recruitment 2024 Notification for the position of Junior Accounts Officer. Interested and eligible officers are invited to apply for this Group 'B'/Non-Gazetted (Ministerial) post in Pay Level 06 of the Pay Matrix (pre-revised PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200) on a deputation basis.
There is one vacancy available for this role, with a salary range of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation is fifty-six years as of the closing date of receipt of applications, which is 24.08.2024. Candidates must note that applications received after this date will not be entertained.
The selection process will follow the standard terms of deputation as outlined in the DP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay.II) dated 17.06.2010, 01.03.2011, and 30.11.2012, as amended from time to time. Candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their application subsequently. If a selected candidate refuses to join, they will be debarred from any deputation in the Government of India for the combined period of the deputation tenure and the cooling-off period.

Age Limit for CBI Recruitment 2024
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed fifty-six years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.
This refers to the office circular No. DP/PERS.M/2024/1332/A/2018/031/2016 dated May 10, 2024, for filling the position of Junior Accounts Officer on a deputation basis, published in Employment News dated May 25-31, 2024, vide EN No. 8/10.
Pay Scale for CBI Recruitment 2024
Applications are invited from eligible and willing officers for filling the post of Junior Accounts Officer, Group 'B'/Non-Gazetted (Ministerial) in CBI. The position is in Pay Level 06 of the Pay Matrix (pre-revised PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200) on a deputation basis.
The officers selected for appointment on deputation will be governed by the standard terms of deputation as contained in the DP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay.II) dated 17.06.2010 & 01.03.2011 and DP&T OM No. 6/5/2012-Estt(Pay.II) dated 30.11.2012, as amended from time to time.
Eligibility conditions for CBI Recruitment 2024
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent ca&e or department;
- With six years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level-(₹ 29,2A0 - 92300) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the Parent cadre or department;
- With ten years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Posts in lrvel4 (Rs' 25,500 - 81,100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;
- Who have undergone training in c19h and accounts work in the ' Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent and possess two years experience in cash, account, and budget work.

The last date for submission of application for the post of Junior Accounts Officer on a deputation basis was 09.07.2024. The last date for the receipt of applications for said post has now been further extended for a period of 45 days i.e uplo 24.08.2024.
The last date for submission 6f application for the above-referenced circular is extended for 15 more days in addition to the 30 days already prescribed in the said circular. Hence, the applicants may send their applications along with all required documents/information through the proper channel to Dy. Director (pers), central Bureau of Investigation, 5-8, 7h Floor, CGO Comptex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 so as to reach within 45 days from lhe publication of the earlier Vacancy Circular.
