Qualification for CBI Recruitment 2024
Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation: Officers working under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories Administration,-
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level-5 (729,200-92300) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
(iii) with ten years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) who have undergone training in cash and accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent and possess two years experience of cash, account and budget work.

- Applications received after this date will not be entertained. As per Recruitment Rules for the post of Junior Accounts Officer, private persons are not eligible for the post.
- The candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently. In case a candidate who is selected, refuses to join, he will be debarred from any deputation in Government of India for the combined period of tenure of deputation and cooling off.
