The Cabinet Secretary has released a recruitment notification for Trainee Pilot positions, with 15 vacancies available. Qualifications Details for Cabinet Secretary Recruitment 2024
The Cabinet Secretary is seeking to fill 15 Trainee Pilot positions. Applicants should have scored at least 50% in Higher Secondary or equivalent exams and hold a valid Commercial Pilot Licence or Helicopter Pilot Commercial Licence issued by the Directorate General Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Age Limit for Cabinet Secretary Recruitment 2024
The age limit for applicants is between 20 and 30 years as of the closing date. However, certain categories have relaxation in the upper age limit: SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5 years, OBC candidates (recognized by resolution issued by the Government of India) have a relaxation of 3 years, and there are also relaxations for Central Government Employees/Ex-servicemen as per current Central Government Orders.
Pay Scale for Cabinet Secretary Recruitment 2024
Applications are open to Indian Nationals for Direct Recruitment in the grade of Trainee Pilot [Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial] within the Cabinet Secretariat, a Government of India organization. Upon joining the post, the monthly salary will be approximately Rs. 1.52 Lakhs in Delhi. Candidates meeting the specified criteria are eligible for the aforementioned position.
Selection Process for Cabinet Secretary Recruitment 2024
- The prescribed educational qualification are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for the selection process.
- Selection process for the above grade shall take into account the marks obtained by the candidates in subjects namely Air Navigation, Air Regulation, Air Meteorology, Technical General and Technical Specification in Flight Crew License Examination (FCLE), conducted by Central Examination Organisation of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
- Marks scored in FCLE out of maximum 500 marks in the said subjects shall be divided by 5 and the figure obtained would be treated as written score out of maximum 100 marks. Final selection shall be based on marks obtained in FCLE (Maximum Marks - 100), Pilot Aptitude Related Psychometric Test (qualifying in nature) and Interview (Maximum Marks - 25)

- Eligible candidates applying for the above-mentioned post must submit self- attested copies of certificates in respect of age, educational qualification and valid result card issued by the Central Examination Organisation in respect of the above mentioned five subjects, valid Commercial Pilot Licence, experience etc.
- Candidates claiming for age-relaxation must submit a certificate issued by the Competent Authority alongwith the application as per standard format annexed. Persons, who are already in Government Service, should submit their applications through proper channel and should enclose "No Objection Certificate" obtained from the Competent Authority. Applications received directly are liable to be rejected.
- Application Form, to be typed on A-4 size paper, should be filled in English Capital (Block) letters using Black or Blue ink only.
- The envelope containing application (alongwith requisite certificates and two self- attested recent passport size colour photograph with name & DOB on the back) should be clearly superscribed as "Application For The Post Of Trainee Pilot" and sent through Ordinary Post addressed to Post Bag No. 3003, Lodhi Road, Head Post Office, New Delhi-110003.
