Online applications are invited from eligible and interested Male & Female Indian citizens for appointment for filling up the under mentioned vacancies in Group- 'C' combatised (non gazetted) posts in the Border Security Force, Veterinary Staff through Online Mode only for vacancy year-2024
Border Security Force (BSF) has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Constable and Head Constable, with a total of six vacancies. Four vacancies are for the position of Head Constable (Veterinary) and two for Constable (Kennelman). The salary ranges from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 81,100 per month.
The application must be submitted online through the BSF website between May 19, 2024, and June 17, 2024. Candidates should ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying, as BSF reserves the right to cancel candidature if any criteria are not met.

Qualification for BSF Recruitment 2024
- Head Constable (Veterinary): 12th Class from a recognized Board. Possessing minimum one year course in Veterinary Stock Assistant from any recognized Institution and having at least one year post qualification experience.
- Constable (Kennelman): 10th Class from a recognized Board; Two years experience in handling of animals from Government Veterinary hospital or dispensary or Veterinary College or Government Animals Farm.

- Age of candidates will be determined on the basis of Date of Birth as recorded in their matriculation certificates.

Application Fee for BSF Recruitment 2024
- Candidates to pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as examination fee plus Rs 47.20 service charges levied by Common Service Centre (CSC) throuah following pavment modes:- Net banking of any bank. Credit/Debit Card of any bank. Nearest authorised Common Service Centre
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and BSF serving personnel are exempted from payment of examination fee.
- Payment of examination will be accepted only through Online mode Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- In case of non-receipt of examination fee from the candidates of non-exempted categories, their form will not be accepted.
Selection Procedure for BSF Recruitment 2024
- 1st phase of examination i.e Written Exam will be conducted at the various Examination Centres. There will be one composite paper for two hours duration. Question papers will be Objective Type with multiple choices on OMR based answer sheet
- Minimum 50% in Trade Knowledge Test. Number of candidates to be qualified in written examination will be restricted maximum 06 times of number of vacancies or all qualified candidates whichever is less, for appearing in 2nd phase examination ie PST, PET, documentation & Medical Examination.
- There will be no re-evaluation of answer sheet. Successful candidates in 1st phase Examination i.e Written Examination will appear before the selection board for Second Phase Examination (i.e. Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, documentation & Medical Examination) on a specified date, which will be communicated to them through e-mail or message or on BSF Website.
- Candidates will have to qualify all the stages of Second phase examination. If any candidate fails to qualify in any events/stage of the examination, he/she will not be allowed to participate in further stage(s) of the examination process.
- Those candidates found fit in Physical Standards Test (PST) will be put through Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which will be qualifying in nature.

- The application by the candidates must be submitted through ONLINE mode only. No other mode for submission of application will be accepted.
- The facility for submission of online application will be opened on BSF website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in w.e.f 19.05.2024 at 00:01 AM and will be closed on 17.06.2024 at 11:59 PM.
- Before applying online application, Candidates are advised to go through the requirement of educational /technical qualification, experience, age, physical standards, physical efficiency test etc and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post before applying.
- BSF reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the selection process, if he/she is found not qualifying any of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

- An Employee serving in the same rank and pay grade will not be entitled to apply for said posts. Candidate must carry Admit card with one photo ID proof, which is required at the Examination venue for entering in selection test, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the same.
- Besides above, candidates may carry two passport size recent colour photographs with him for necessary action as required.
