Bombay High Court Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Counsellor Vacancies, Check Eligibility at bombayhighcourt.nic.in

The Bombay High Court has announced a recruitment drive for 2024 to fill 10 Counsellor positions based in Mumbai. Candidates must have an M.A. in Counselling or Clinical Psychology and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Additional qualifications or experience in Couple and Family Therapy, as well as proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi, are preferred.

The Counsellor will be responsible for providing individual, couples, and family counselling for disputes and pre-litigation matters, either at the High Court or other designated locations. Qualifications Details for Bombay High Court Recruitment 2024

• The candidate should have completed M.A. in Counselling/Clinical Psychology alongwith a minimum 2 years' experience of working as a Counsellor.
• Preference will be given to those candidates who have additional qualifications such as having completed specialized courses in Couple and Family Therapy or demonstrating direct experience of working as a Couple/Family Therapist. Preference will also be given to candidates who have an experience of working in legal settings. Proficiency in English, Hind and Marathi is preferred

Job Responsibilities for Bombay High Court Recruitment 2024

• This position will entail working with individuals, children and couples who are currently undergoing matrimonial disputes or any other disputes and pre-litigation matters at Bombay High Court. The Counsellor will provide individual, couples and family counselling and also be responsible for documentation of the work.
• The Counsellor will be required to do counselling at the counselling rooms of Bombay High Court or at any other place, subject to orders from the Hon'ble High Court or directions of the Main Mediation Centre.
• The Counsellor will also be responsible for conducting group counselling.
• Documentation of the work conducted at the Centre is expected.
