BIT Mesra has announced a vacancy for a Research Assistant position as part of its 2024 recruitment drive. This opportunity is available for candidates with an MA in Economics, Development Studies, or related subjects, or an MTech in Remote Sensing. The role offers a consolidated salary of Rs 25,000 per month.
Applicants should have the ability to work with GIS data, manage field staff, and be willing to conduct fieldwork in West Bengal. Proficiency in Bengali is also required. Qualifications For BIT Mesra Recruitment 2024

- Working knowledge of Bengali (reading/writing)
- Willing to travel for field work in West Bengal

- The appointment of the candidate will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Institute/ funding agency particularly applicable to the said project as and when required.
- The post is purely temporary in nature and subjected to availability of funds.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
