The Bihar State Cooperative Bank Ltd. is seeking to recruit five experts for its Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) on a contract basis, authorized by the Government of India as a Nodal agency for promoting Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). The positions include Social Mobilization Expert, Crop Husbandry Expert, Law/Accounts Specialist, Agri Marketing/Value Addition/Processing Specialist, and Information Technology/MIS Expert.

Candidates aged between 25 to 40 years with relevant qualifications and experience are invited to apply offline by March 30, 2024. The engagement will be on a yearly performance-based contract, subject to renewal. The monthly salaries range from Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 40,000/-.

Qualification for Bihar SCB Recruitment 2024

Social Mobilization Expert (State Head) :

• Graduate in Rural Development/ Social Work or Graduate with Diploma in Rural development/Social Work from a recognized University/Institute With 5+ years relevant experience in mobilisation of farmers, field demonstrations, organising village level meetings etc.

Crop Husbandry Expert :

• Graduate in Agriculture from a recognised university with 5+ years of relevant experience in crop production techniques, technology intervention & working with FPOs/Large Farmer’s Groups etc.

Law or Accounts :

• B.com with 5+ years/Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary with 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, statutory compliance, legal matters, arbitration etc.

Agri Marketing or Value Addition/Processing Specialist :

• MBA in Agribusiness Management or equivalent from a recognized university/ Institute with 3+ years of relevant experience in Agribusiness/ Agri Marketing/ value chain Development including Post harvest Management and working with FPOs/Large Farmer’s groups etc

Information Technology or MIS :

• B. Tech/BCA in computer science/Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with 3+ years of relevant experience of handling IT related assignments, MIS development, Software development etc

Terms and Conditions for Bihar SCB Recruitment 2024

• The engagement shall be purely on contract basis for five years which will be based on yearly performance and subject to renewal of contract on yearly basis. The contractual person shall not be entitled to any benefits / compensations.
• The consolidated remuneration will be inclusive of applicable taxes and no other facility or allowance will be allowed. Remuneration will be paid on a monthly basis. An annual increment subject to satisfactory performance.
• In case the performance of the contractual person is not satisfactory, or he/she fails to perform/carry out the functions entrusted or otherwise, or she/he is found in disciplined or wanting, BSCB may terminate the contract at any time by giving one month’s notice without assigning any reasons
• Only qualifying candidates will be called for the interview
