BHU Recruitment 2024 Check Posts, Salary, Qualification, Age Limit And How To Apply
BHU is offering opportunities for Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Agronomy, Soil Science, Environmental, or Life Science fields. Candidates with a PhD degree from an Indian university or institutes with NIRF ranking up to 20, or those with a PhD from abroad, are eligible. They must have a track record of published work in Q1 or Q2 journals or SCOPUS/Web of Science listed journals.
The fellowship includes a salary of Rs. 60,000/- per month along with HRA of Rs. 10,000/- per month. Applicants should submit their biodata, educational qualifications, publication details, and other relevant documents via email to [email protected] within 21 days from the date of advertisement.
Hard copies can also be submitted to the Department of Agronomy, BHU. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email for the interview, with no TA/DA provided.

BHU Recruitment 2024 Qualification
- The candidates should have PhD degree (Agronomy/Soil Science/Environmental /Life Science with preference in soil organic carbon) from an Indian University/Institutes with a NIRF ranking of up to 20 (overall or in respective areas) or those who have done PhD from abroad will be eligible.
- The candidates must have a proven track record with published work in at least two papers in Q1 or Q2 journals or SCOPUS/Web of Science listed journals.
BHU Recruitment 2024 Salary
- Fellowship amount of Rs. 60,000/-pm and HRA of Rs. 10,000/- per month, sanctioned under the Institution of Eminence (loE) Scheme of BHU for one year. In addition, a contingency amount of Rs. 50,000/- per annum will be provided.
BHU Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- The upper Age Limit is 45 Years (5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
