BHU Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- Anesthesiology: MD/MS (Anaesthesiology) from a permitted / recognized /approved medical college/ Institutions. OR DNB in the Anesthesiology as per the TEQ regulations of NMC, Gazette Notification, dated 14.02.2022 for equivalence to MD/MS
- Anatomy: M.S. / MD (Anatomy) OR MBBS with M.Sc. (Med. Anatomy) and Ph.D. (Med. Anatomy) OR M.Sc. (Med. Anatomy) with Ph.D. (Med. Anatomy) from a permitted / recognized /approved medical college/ institution. OR DNB in the Anatomy as per the TEQ regulations of NMC, Gazette Notification, dated 14.02.2022 for equivalence to MD/MS
- Biochemistry: M.D.(Biochemistry) OR MBBS with M.Sc. (Med. Biochemistry) and Ph.D. (Med. Biochemistry) OR M.Sc. (Med. Biochemistry) with Ph.D. (Med. Biochemistry) from a permitted / recognized /approved medical college/ Institutions OR DNB in the Biochemistry as per the TEQ regulations of NMC, Gazette Notification, dated 14.02.2022 for equivalence to MD/MS.
- Cardiology: DM (Cardiology) from a permitted /recognized/ approved medical college/ institution. OR DNB (Cardiology) as per the TEQ regulations of NMC, Gazette Notification, dated 14.02.2022 for equivalence to DM.
- Community Medicine: MD (Community Medicine / Social & Preventive Medicine / Preventive & Social Medicine)/ Community Health Administration from a permitted / recognized /approved medical college/ Institution. OR DNB in the Community Medicine / Social & Preventive Medicine / Preventive & Social Medicine. Community Health Administration per the TEQ regulations of NMC, Gazette Notification, dated 14.02.2022 for equivalence to MD.
- Centre of Biostatistics: M.Sc. in Health Statistics/Biostatistics/Statistics with at least 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed.)

Application fees for BHU Recruitment 2024
A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- is required through online mode from the candidates of UR , EWSs & OBCs categories. No application fee is required for SCs, STs, PwBDs category and Women & Transgeder candidates. The application fee is to be paid through the payment gateway.

BHU Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
A Senior Resident is an individual who has completed residency in the concerned postgraduate subject after obtaining a PG degree (MD/MS/DNB) and is below 45 years of age at time of initial appointment.
Selection Process for BHU Recruitment 2024
- The University may invite the shortlisted candidates for the presentation before a committee constituted for the purpose in preparing the final list of candidates for interview.
- Notwithstanding academic scores for the shortlisting for interview, the final selection for all the faculty positions shall be based solely on the performance in the interview as prescribed in the UGC Regulation, 2018.
How to apply for BHU Recruitment 2024
- The Last Date for the online submission of applications along with required enclosures and the application fee, is 04.03.2024 upto 5.00 p.m
- All applicants, except those from SC, ST, PwBDs categories, and Women & Transgender candidates, are required to deposit a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000/- through the designated payment gateway using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.
- The positions advertised vide Rolling Advt. No.01/2020-2021 for different departments/centers of the respective Institutes/Faculties for which selections could not be held, have now been treated as cancelled/withdrawn.
- Applicant, who have paid application fee against the earlier advertised positions, may claim for refund of their application fee. A request letter may be sent to the Joint Registrar (RAC), BHU on email [email protected] indicating their post details, transaction ID No. with bank account details.
