Qualification for BHEL Recruitment 2024
Contractual Medical Practitioner (GDMO) :
- MBBS Degree recognized by Medical Council of India and Candidate should be registered with either Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Contractual Medical Practitioner (Specialists) :
- MBBS Degree with a Postgraduate Degree in the Specialty Concerned recognized by Medical Council of India and Candidate should be registered with either Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

Age Limit for BHEL Recruitment 2024
- Upper age limit is 45 years
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) Candidates.
- The OBC Candidates who do not belong to Non-Creamy layer should indicate their category as General only
- For PwD category Candidates, age is relaxable by 10 years for General and 13 years for OBC (NonCreamy Layer) Candidates as per rules.
- Persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability sBHELl only be eligible for the benefit for PwD.
- The age concession to the PwD sBHELl be admissible irrespective of the fact whether the post is reserved for persons with disabilities or not, provided the post is identified as suitable for the relevant category of disability.
- The above notified positions are identified suitable for the disabilities as indicated under the relevant provisions of Rights of Persons with Disability Act (RPwD) 2016 and subsequent rules on the matter:
- Locomotor disability (OL, BL & OA), Leprosy cured , Dwarfism and Acid Attack Victims.
- Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
- Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be as per Central Government Rules.
