Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is inviting applications from qualified Indian medical professionals for the position of Contractual Medical Practitioner (General Duty Medical Officer - GDMO) for a fixed tenure of two years at its Hospital/Dispensaries in Jhansi. This tenure may be extended annually based on performance and requirement.
There are two vacancies available for this position. Applicants must hold an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India and be registered with either the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.
The selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 95,000, along with reimbursement of premiums paid for a Mediclaim Policy up to Rs. 2 lakhs for self, spouse, and two dependent children. The reporting date is set for April 29, 2024, from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm.

Qualification for BHEL Recruitment 2024
The qualification required for BHEL Recruitment 2024 for the role of Contractual Medical Practitioner (GDMO) necessitates candidates to hold an MBBS Degree acknowledged by the Medical Council of India. Additionally, candidates must be duly registered with either the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.
Pay Scale for BHEL Recruitment 2024
The selected candidates will be paid an all-inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 95,000/- (Rupees Ninety-Five thousand only) per month for the position of Contractual Medical Practitioner (GDMO) Reimbursement of premium paid for Mediclaim Policy upto Rs. 2 lakhs for Self, Spouse, 2 dependent children of Family, will be admissible.
Age Limit for BHEL Recruitment 2024
- Upper age limit – 45 Years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy layer) Candidates & 5 Years for SC/ST Candidates. The OBC Candidates who do not belong to Non-Creamy layer should indicate their category as General only
- For PwD category Candidates, age is relaxable by 10 years for General and 13 years for OBC (NonCreamy Layer) Candidates and 15 years for SC/ST Candidates, as per rules. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for the benefit for PwD
Selection Procedure for BHEL Recruitment 2024
- Candidates fulfilling the above eligibility conditions may WALK-IN for a Personal Interview along with application in the prescribed format and relevant documents/testimonials in support of eligibility in original & one set photocopy.
- The candidature of applicants at all stages of selection process will be provisional and is subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Applications that are not in conformity with the requirements indicated in this advertisement / incomplete application will be summarily rejected.
- On selection, their engagement will be subject to medical examination by Company’s Doctor/Authorised Medical Practitioners as per BHEL Medical Attendance Rules
