Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced the recruitment of Part Time Medical Consultants for 2024, with six vacancies available. Candidates must possess qualifications such as MD, MS, DNB, or a PG Diploma in their respective fields to be eligible for the post. The upper age limit for applicants is 64 years as of September 1, 2024, although this can be extended up to 70 years with approval from the Competent Authority. Selected candidates will be paid on an hourly basis, with MD/MS/DNB holders earning Rs. 530 to Rs. 790 per hour, and those with a PG Diploma receiving Rs. 460 to Rs. 690 per hour. Additionally, candidates specializing in certain fields may receive call duty charges up to Rs. 15,000 per month.
Applicants should ensure that their medical qualifications are recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and that they are registered with either the MCI or a State Medical Council. The selection process will involve walk-in interviews, and no TA/DA will be provided to candidates attending these interviews. It's essential for candidates to meet all eligibility criteria and ensure that the information they provide is accurate. Any discrepancies found during the recruitment process could result in disqualification, termination, or legal action. Furthermore, BHEL reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process if necessary.

Pay Scale for BHEL Recruitment 2024
- MD/MS/DNB Rs. 530/- per hour Rs. 790/- per hour
- PG Diploma Rs. 460/- per hour Rs. 690/- per hour
- Call duty charges for Speciality in Gynaecology, Surgery, Medicine, Pediatrics and Orthopaedics – Up to Rs. 15,000/- per month.

- Candidates employed in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/Nationalized Banks/Autonomous Bodies shall be required to apply through Proper Channel. However, in the event of difficulty, they may send the application directly and produce the no objection certificate/ resignation letter from their organization in the event of selection.
- The candidates should ensure while applying that they fulfill the essential eligibility criteria and other requirements prescribed for the above posts and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects. In case, it is detected at any stage of recruitment process that the candidates do not fulfill the essential eligibility criteria and /or does not comply with other requirements and /or he/she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any relevant information / material fact(s), his / her candidature is liable to be rejected. If any of the above shortcomings is/are detected, even after appointment, his/her services are liable for suitable action including termination and prosecution.
- The Management reserves the right to Revise / Reschedule / Cancel / Suspend the recruitment process, if the need so arises, without assigning any further notice or reason thereof.
