To be associated with development of AUSC Technology Demonstration Plant BHEL, Heavy Electrical Equipment Plant, Haridwar invites applications from willing and eligible candidates for the position of FTA Gr II (AUSC) in the branch of Mechanical Engineering to be engaged purely on Fixed Tenure Appointment Basis for a period of 2 (Two) years for Advanced Ultra Super Critical (AUSC) project.
The tenure can be further extended by 1 (one) year subject to performance and requirement. The details of vacancies and reservation requirements are as below:

Qualification for BHEL Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification
- Full time B.E. / B. Tech. / B.Sc. Engg. degree in Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all the years/ semesters from a recognised university/ Institution.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in 3D CAD Modelling (Creo / NX) / Analysis in ANSYS/2D Drawing preparation in AutoCAD. Experience in construction design & strength calculations of Steam Turbine and Governing components will be preferred.
Job Descriptions
- 3D Modelling of steam turbine components in NX/Creo Software. 2D drafting and preparation of Engineering drawing of steam turbine components in AutoCAD. Design Analysis using ANSYS for Steam Turbine components. Engineering Calculation for steam turbine components using Excel / Matlab.
Pay Scale for BHEL Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidates shall be paid an all-inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 84,000/- (Rupees Eighty-four thousand only) per month during the first year of engagement.
- There will be annual increase of Rs.4000/- during the subsequent years of engagement. In addition, reimbursement shall be made for premium paid for Mediclaim Policy up to Rs. 5 lakhs for self and family (Self, Spouse and dependent children).
- The selected candidates shall be covered under the Group Personal Accident Policy of BHEL for Rs. 15 Lacs, which cover accidently caused body injury due to external reason except natural death, death due to disease and suicide.
- Accommodation will be as per company’s extent policies.
Age Limit for BHEL Recruitment 2024
- Upper age limit is 34 years as on 01.11.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) Candidates. The OBC Candidates who do not belong to Non-Creamy layer should indicate their category as General only
- For PwBD category Candidates, age is relaxable by 10 years for General and 13 years for OBC (NonCreamy Layer) Candidates, as per rules. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for the benefit for PwBD.
Application Fee for BHEL Recruitment 2024
Candidates are required to pay a Non-Refundable Processing Fee of 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) during submission of application form Online. Only on successful remittance of fee, the process of Online submission of Application is completed. SC, ST and PwBD Candidates are exempted from paying the processing fee.
Selection Procedure for BHEL Recruitment 2024
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions shall be called for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:10. In case of receipt of more no. of eligible applications beyond the prescribed ratio of 1:10, shortlisting of Candidates for interview shall be done based on marks secured in B.E./ B. Tech. Examination.

- After filling the details and clicking “SAVE AND PROCEED”, an Acknowledgement Number will be generated which is to be noted down for future as the same will be required to LOGIN to know about the status/ update on application.
- Candidates then have to visit the FTA Home page and login with Acknowledgement Number and Date of Birth and click the Link “Payment And Final Submit” to make payment and final submission of Application.
- Payment is not required for SC, ST and PwBDs Candidates, but they also have to click the Link “Payment And Final Submit” for final submission of Application.
- Duly filled in application form downloaded from our website is to be signed, photograph to be pasted and to be sent along with requisite documents as mentioned to the address given below, so as to reach on or before 18.12.2024.
- For far flung areas, the last date of receipt of hard copy of application is 26.12.2024. BHEL will not be responsible for any postal loss/ delay in receipt of application.
