Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has released its 2024 recruitment notification for the position of Project Engineer-I, offering eight vacancies. The role comes with a salary range of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month, depending on the year of service.
Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in disciplines such as Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Telecommunication, from a recognized university, with at least two years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience.
Candidates with experience in areas such as Radars, Communication Systems, and on-site project execution will be preferred. The job locations are in Mumbai and Vizag, and the last date to apply is October 09, 2024.
The Project Engineer-I role is initially for a period of three years, extendable to a maximum of four years, based on project requirements and performance. Candidates will also be eligible for a retention bonus of Rs. 25,000 per year, payable at the end of the four-year tenure.

Qualifications Details for BEL Recruitment 2024
- 4 Years B.E./ B.Tech. course from recognized Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines : Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Communication, and Telecommunication.
- 2 years relevant post qualification industrial experience. Only relevant post qualification experience will be considered. Candidates should have experience in any of the following areas:
- Work experience in Radars and Communication Systems, High voltage transmitters, Signal Processing will be an added advantage.
- Hands on experience in using test instruments like network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, Signal generators, RF power meters, etc.
- Experience in preparation of project documents, updating stores database, inspection of electrical and electronic components/spares, coordinating with customers for clearances, etc.
- Work experience in on-site project execution, installation and commissioning of equipment, on-site Product Support activities, etc.
- Candidates should have managed work teams and should have been involved in work planning, scheduling and execution.
Pay Scale for BEL Recruitment 2024
Project Engineers will be engaged initially for a period of THREE years which may be extended upto a maximum of Four years (including initial period) based on Project requirement and individual’s performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 45,000/- per month for 2nd year, Rs. 50,000/- per month for 3rd year and Rs. 55,000/- per month for 4th year
Project Engineers who join as Project Engineer-I and complete overall tenure of 4 Years will be entitled for Retention Bonus of Rs.25,000/- for every completed year. However, the retention bonus will be payable at the end of 04 Years i.e., Rs.1,00,000/-.
Application Fee for BEL Recruitment 2024
- Project Engineer - Rs. 472/- (Rs. 400 + 18%GST) Candidates belonging to PwBD, SC and ST categories are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection Process for BEL Recruitment 2024
Selection will be through a written test followed by interview of only those candidates who qualify the written test. Candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:5 based on performance in the written test in the respective category.
