- Project Engineer-I: 4 years full time BE/ B Tech in the discipline of Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Project Engineer-I (PE-SSI): 4 years full time BE/ B Tech in the discipline of Electronics & Communication / Electronics / Telecommunication/ Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication.
- Project Engineer-I: 4 years full time BE/ B Tech in the discipline of Electronics & Communication / Electronics / Telecommunication/ Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication.
- Trainee Engineer-I: 4 years full time BE/ B Tech in the discipline of Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

BEL Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- 32 Years For Project Engineers And 28 Years For Trainee Engineers As On 01.03.2024/
- The above mentioned upper age limit is for General & EWS candidates.
- The age limit will be relaxable by 03 years for OBC candidates and by 05 years for SC & ST candidates.
- Candidates belonging to PwBD category, having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ age relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

Selection Process for BEL Recruitment 2024
- Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement, will be called for a Written Test which will be for 85 marks.
- Candidates who pass the written test will be called for Interview based on the merit and vacancies, in the ratio of 1:5. 15 marks will be allotted for Interview.
- The minimum qualifying marks in Written Test and Interview is 35% for General/EWS/OBC and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- The venue for the Written Test and Interview will be intimated later.
