Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow or Project Associate - II (JRF) or Project Associate-Il (if GATE/NET qualified candidate not available) in a SERB sponsored Project, "Exploring New Annulation, Rearrangement and Ring-Opening Reactions of Substituted Donor-Acceptor Cyclopropanes for the Synthesis of Bioactive Carbocycles and Heterocycles" for a duration of 36 Months. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should possess essential qualifications given below.

Qualification for BDU Recruitment 2024
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Master's degree in Chemistry or equivalent subject and must have a minimum of 60% marks.
- Pass in NET/GATE. (c). (or)
Project Associate-II (PA-Il):
- Master's degree in Chemistry in Chemistry or equivalent subject and must have a minimum of 60% marks.
- Two-year research experience, preferably in the field of synthetic organic chemistry (
Salary for BDU Recruitment 2024
- For JRF: Rs. 31,000/-+HRA for the first two years and Rs. 35,000/- for the third year (SRF).
- For PA-II: Rs. 28,000/-+HRA
Age Limit for BDU Recruitment 2024
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : The upper age limit is 28 years (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/women/ physically handicapped candidates)
- Project Associate-II (PA-Il) : The upper age limit is 35 years.
Selection Procedure for BDU Recruitment 2024
- Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear for the interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
