Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University (BBMKU) invites applications for the position of Guest Faculty in various subjects, on a temporary basis for six months or until regular appointment, whichever is earlier. Eligibility criteria include a Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks, along with either JRF/NET qualification or a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations.
Guest Faculty will receive an honorarium of Rs. 600 per lecture, with a maximum of four lectures per day and a cap of Rs. 36,000 per month. Application must be made online through the university website, accompanied by a fee of Rs. 1000 for General/EWS/OBC candidates and Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PH candidates, paid via Demand Draft favoring the "Registrar, Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University."
Superannuated teachers within the age limit of 70 years may also apply, as well as those already engaged as Guest Faculty. Applicants should submit the printed online application form along with self-attested copies of relevant documents through registered/speed post. The deadline for online application has been extended until May 16, 2023, with the last date for receipt of hardcopy applications set for May 22, 2023.

Qualifications Details for BBMKU Recruitment 2024
As per UGC regulation 2018 for appointment of Assistant professor i.e.
- Master's Degree in the subject concerned with minimum 55% marks, and
- JRF/NET qualified or having Ph.D. Degree as per UGC Regulation 2009.
Pay Scale for BBMKU Recruitment 2024
BBMKU is hiring Guest Faculty for 158 positions, offering a salary of Rs. 36,000 per month. Guest Faculty will be compensated at a rate of Rs. 600 per lecture, with a maximum of four lectures per day, ensuring a monthly maximum of Rs. 36,000.

Selection Process for BBMKU Recruitment 2024
- Eligible candidate will be shortlisted for interview. Selection will be done in accordance with the Jharkhand Universities Statues (Appointment).
- Reservation policy will be followed as per the Jharkhand state government rules.
- The decision of the university will be final in this regard.

Superannuated teachers may also apply subject to the age limit of 70 years.
