Qualification for BARC Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks, or
- B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subjects and a minimum of 60% marks
Experience Requirements:
- Candidates must have experience working in a radiopharmacy laboratory, as well as experience in a facility handling radioisotopes.
Pay Scale for BARC Recruitment 2024
The monthly emoluments for the position of Scientific Assistant B at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) are Rs. 19,502, in addition to the Dearness Allowance (D.A.) that is applicable for the SA/B grade.
Age Limit for BARC Recruitment 2024
The age limit for applicants is a maximum of 50 years as of May 31, 2024.
Selection Procedure for BARC Recruitment 2024

- The last date for receiving applications is September 12, 2024 (Thursday). Applications should be submitted in the prescribed format, which is available on the BARC website (www.barc.gov.in).
- Candidates must forward their applications, along with Xerox copies of educational qualifications, degree certificates, experience documents, etc., to the Head, Radiation Medicine Centre (Medical), Room No. 415, 4th Floor, Tata Hospital Annexe Building, Jerbai Wadia Road, Parel, Mumbai - 400012.
- The envelope should be superscribed with "Application for the post of Scientific Assistant/B on locum/adhoc basis."
- Applications that do not meet the specified requirements, are incomplete, or are received after the deadline will be rejected.
- Selected candidates will be required to provide a Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner and a Police Verification Certificate.
