The UP Council of Agricultural Research, Lucknow, is seeking candidates for the position of Young Professional-II for a two-year project titled "Evaluation and characterization of climate resilient genotypes of Indian mustard against biotic (white rust, sclerotinia, alternaria blight, and downy mildew) and abiotic (submergence) stresses (Phase-II)".
The post offers a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 35,000 and requires a minimum qualification of M.Sc. in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Genetics/Plant breeding and Genetics with 55% marks or M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience relevant to the project.
The upper age limit is 28 years, with relaxation for female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates and OBC candidates. Interested applicants must submit their applications, including educational and experience details, to Dr. Kartikeya Srivastava, the Principal Investigator, by email and hard copy before the interview date, or at the time of the interview scheduled for 30th May 2024, at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. TA/DA will not be provided for the interview.
