AUD Recruitment 2024 Notification Out For 67 Vacancies, Check Posts, Qualification, Monthly Salary, And Other Details

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has released a notification for the recruitment of 67 vacancies for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. The application process commenced on March 15, 2024, and the last date to apply online is April 8, 2024, with the last date for receiving hard copies of applications being April 12, 2024.

Among the vacancies, 05 positions are reserved for persons with disabilities as per the DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018. The qualifications required vary for each position, ranging from a Ph.D. degree with relevant experience to specific educational qualifications. The salary ranges from Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month, depending on the position. Application fees amount to Rs. 1000/- for UR/OBC/EWS category, while there is no fee for SC/ST/PwD/Women applicants.

Selection will be based on scrutiny/screening committee evaluation, and the selection process may involve a presentation, seminar, interview, or a combination thereof. Position and Vacancy for AUD Recruitment 2024

• Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Category 'b' as per DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018): 01 post
• Multiple Disability (Category 'e' as per DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018): 01 post
• Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy (Category 'c' as mentioned in the DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018): 02 posts
• Blindness and low vision (Category 'a' as mentioned in the DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018): 01 post

Qualification for AUD Recruitment 2024

Professor:

• An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018.
• A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
• An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.
• Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch. AND
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor. AND
• At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility for promotion. OR
• At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.

Associate Professor :

• A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines as per the specialisation mentioned.
• A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed) in the subject areas of Education, Early Child Care, English, Management, Commerce, Tourism & Hospitality, Nutrition, CA/CMA/CS and other allied disciplines as per the specialisations as mentioned.
• A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018.
• Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch. AND
• At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals. AND
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience

Assistant Professor :

• A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the subject areas of Education, Early Child Care, English, Management, Commerce, Economics, Tourism & Hospitality, Nutrition, CA/CMA/CS and other allied disciplines as per the specialisations mentioned for the posts from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/CA/ICWA/M. Com with First Class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after acquiring the degree of Master’s degree

Selection Procedure for AUD Recruitment 2024

• Applications will be scrutinised by a Scrutiny/Screening Committee and a list of eligible/ not-eligible candidates will be prepared on the basis of stipulated guidelines/criteria as decided by the University.
• The criteria as set out by the Screening Committee/ Competent Authority for short listing the candidates shall be binding and no claim whatsoever, will be entertained.
• The list of eligible candidates and the list of not-eligible candidates (indicating the reason for being not-eligible) will be uploaded on the University website after the scrutiny.
• Candidates who are shown not-eligible at this stage will have an opportunity to submit their grievances/ clarification with documentary evidence for reconsideration within a stipulated deadline.
• The process of selection may be by a presentation/seminar/interview or a combination thereof if needed as per requirement.

How to Apply for AUD Recruitment 2024

• Application forms have to be filled mandatorily in online mode as available on the website of the University within the prescribed time limit as indicated in the advertisement.
• Payment should be made online only, through credit/debit card/net banking/payment gateway as provided by the University.
• Applicants applying for more than one discipline must apply separately and pay fees, separately.
• After submission of online application and successful payment of fee, applicants will be required to take printout of the online application.
• A hard copy of the online application along with self-attested required documents must reach the University office up to 12/04/2024 (up to 17:30 hrs) at the following address (preferably by Registered/Speed Post).
• While submission of hard copy all applicants please ensure that an indexing of all documents has been done appropriately along with pagination.
• All documents and pagination are done in the order of essential eligibility criteria.
• In case of non compliance with the same, such application will not be taken up for screening process and candidature of concerned applicant will be treated as rejected without assigning any reason thereof.

• All the above posts carry UGC pay scales plus admissible allowances.
• Applicants are required to produce specific certificates as per eligibility conditions.
• The dates of interviews will be notified on the University website and the same will be communicated through email (as provided in the application form) to the shortlisted candidates only .
• Any change of correspondence address/ email/ phone from the one given in the application form should at once be communicated to the University.
• The number of candidates to be called for interview for the teaching posts in the University shall be determined after screening of applications as per the norms of the University.
