Position, Vacancy for AUD Recruitment 2024

Out of above 67 positions, 05 position reserved for the persons with disabilities in the following category as details given below:
i) Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Category ‘b’ as mentioned in the DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018)- 01 post
ii) Multiple Disability (Category ‘e’ as mentioned in the DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018)- 01 post.
iii) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy (Category ‘c’ as mentioned in the DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018) – 02 posts
iv) Blindness and low vision (Category ‘a’ as mentioned in the DoPT OM dated 15.01.2018) – 01 post
Qualification for AUD Recruitment 2024
- An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline.
- An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.
- A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines as per the specialisation mentioned.
- A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed) in the subject areas of Education, Early Child Care, English, Management, Commerce, Tourism & Hospitality, Nutrition, CA/CMA/CS and other allied disciplines as per the specialisations as mentioned.
- The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
- Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch. AND b. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch. AND b. At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/CA/ICWA/M. Com with First Class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after acquiring the degree of Master’s degree.

Age Limit for AUD Recruitment 2024
- Relaxations as per UGC Regulations, 2018 on the Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018 for Universities
- A relaxation of 5% shall be provided, (from 55% to 50% of the marks) to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991
Application Fee for AUD Recruitment 2024
Non-Refundable fees for UR/OBC/EWS category is Rs.1000/- ∙ No application fee will be charged from applicants belonging to SC, ST, PwD and Women categories. After submission of online application and successful payment of fee, applicants will be required to take printout of the online application.
Selection Procedure for AUD Recruitment 2024
- The Academic score as specified of the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018, for Universities shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance in the interview.
- Applications will be scrutinized by a Scrutiny/Screening Committee and a list of eligible/ not-eligible candidates will be prepared on the basis of stipulated guidelines/criteria as decided by the University.
- The criteria as set out by the Screening Committee/ Competent Authority for short listing the candidates shall be binding and no claim whatsoever, will be entertained.
- The dates of interviews will be notified on the University website and the same will be communicated through email (as provided in the application form) to the shortlisted candidates only
AUD Recruitment 2024 Last Date to Apply Online at aud.delhi.gov.in
- Application forms have to be filled mandatorily in online mode as available on the website of the University within the prescribed time limit as indicated in the advertisement.
- Payment should be made online only, through credit/debit card/net banking/payment gateway as provided by the University
- Applicants applying for more than one discipline must apply separately and pay fees, separately
- Hard copy of applications received after the due date shall not be considered and will summarily be rejected. The University shall not be responsible for postal delay, if any.
- This is for the information of all concerned that the last date to apply online for various teaching post of the said advertisement (Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor) in different disciplines has been extended up to 30.04.2024 (up to 23:59 hrs), and the last date of receiving hard copy of application form has been extended up to 07.05.2024 (up to 17:50 hrs).
