The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has announced a vacancy for a Research Management Position (RMP) to be filled on a tenure basis for five years at the ICAR Headquarters in New Delhi. The position requires a doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences or related fields such as Social Science, Basic Science, Mass Communication, or Information Technology, with a minimum of 10 years of post-Ph.D.
Work experience in Publishing, Communication, or Agricultural Knowledge Management. Candidates should have at least 5 years' experience as a Principal Scientist/Professor or in an equivalent position, or be recognized as an 'Eminent Scientist' with a proven record of scientific contribution.
The application process is exclusively online through the ASRB website, with submissions starting from May 1st, 2024, at 10:00 AM, and closing on May 31st, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Qualifications Details for ASRB Recruitment 2024
- Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences. or Doctoral degree in Social Science / Basic Science/Mass Communication / Information Technology with minimum 10 years of post Ph.D work experience in Publishing / Communication / Agricultural Knowledge Management.
- At least 5 years' experience as Principal Scientist/Professor or in an equivalent position in Pay Level 14 of 7th CPC (PB-4 of Rs.37,400-67,000/- with GP Rs. l0,000/- of 6th CPC) or An 'Eminent Scientist' having proven record of scientific contribution working in a reputed Organization/Institutes in the grade of Pr. Scientist/ Professor/equivalent in Pay Level-14 of the 7th CPC/equivalent and having at least 15 years' experience in the relevant subject.
- Experience in Publication Production Management/ Information Technology/ Information Dissemination / S&T Communication.
Age Limit for ASRB Recruitment 2024

Pay Scale for ASRB Recruitment 2024
ASRB is recruiting for the position of Project Director at the Directorate of Knowledge Management in Agriculture (DKMA), located at ICAR Headquarters in New Delhi. This role is at Research Level 14 with a salary range of Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200, and a rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200. There is one post available for this position.

Payment can be made through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/ UPI from any Bank.
- Transaction charges for Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/ UPI payment, as the case may be, have to be borne by the candidate. Mere payment of fees in Bharatkosh without successful submission of application form (till the last date and time for submission of online application form) will not be considered. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/Divyang categories and women need not pay any fee. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Selection Process for ASRB Recruitment 2024
- The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum requirements and possessing the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Short-listing of candidates for being called for the interview does not convey or assure that they will be selected
- Shortlisted applicants must appear for personal interview at a place as may be scheduled by the Board. The Board does not defray the travelling or other expenses of applicants called for the interview. In-service candidates can be considered to be On Duty for the purposes of attending the interview, subject to approval of the Competent Authority of their organizations wherein they are employed
