The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) serves as the state's official recruitment agency responsible for appointing Group 'A' and Group 'B' officers within the Government of Assam and various state government entities, encompassing public sector undertakings and autonomous bodies. Located at Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara in Guwahati, it operates with its dedicated secretariat. Established on April 1, 1937, the APSC plays a pivotal role in the selection and placement of officers for the state.

Online applications are invited for the recruitment of Inspector positions at the Assam Public Service Commission. The application period commences on January 10, 2024, and concludes on February 8, 2024.

• Number Vacancy: 03
• Educational and other qualifications: Degree in any branch of engineering or technology preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. (Upload relevant all semester year mark sheet reflecting the subjects and the final pass certificate)
• Experience: Practical experience of two years in workshop or manufacturing concern of good standing.
• Pay Scale: Rs.30,000/- to Rs.1,10,000/-
• Age Limit:The candidates should not be less than 23 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2024.
