Qualifications Details for APSC Recruitment 2024
English
- Master's Degree in English/ELT with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University
- M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University
- NET/SLET/Ph.D. from any recognized University.
Assamese
- Master's Degree in Assamese with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University
- M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University
- NET/SLET/Ph.D. from any recognized University.
Mathematics
- Master's Degree in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University

Age Limit for APSC Recruitment 2024
Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of January 1, 2024. Age relaxation is provided as follows:
- SC/ST Candidates: Up to 43 years (5 years of relaxation).
- OBC/MOBC Candidates: Up to 41 years (3 years of relaxation) as per Government Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated April 25, 2018.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Up to 48 years (10 years of relaxation) regardless of SC/ST/OBC/UR category, as per Government Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated January 7, 2019.
Age will be determined based on the date of birth reflected on the Class-X or Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central or State Board/Council.
Pay Scale for APSC Recruitment 2024
The salary structure includes a basic pay scale, grade pay, and other allowances as per the Assam State Government regulations, which may be updated periodically.
- Pay Scale: ₹30,000 to ₹1,10,000 per month
- Grade Pay: ₹13,300
- Pay Band: Pay Band - 4
Application Fee for APSC Recruitment 2024
- In line with the Digital India initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is introducing its Online Recruitment Portal with the support of CSC-SPV, a MeitY-approved organization.
- A processing fee of ₹40.00 plus 18% tax (₹7.20) will be charged by CSC-SPV from each candidate, totaling ₹47.20. The application fees are outlined as per Government Notification No. FEG.32/2016/8-A dated October 28, 2016, and communicated via letter No. ABP.60/2014/11 dated February 2, 2018.
How to Apply for APSC Recruitment 2024
1. Applicants are required to apply online through APSC's recruitment website. No other means/mode of application will be accepted and the Application will be summarily rejected.
2. Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC's recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on 'Register Here' link and complete the One Time Registration(OTR) process by providing basic details.
3. Candidates Are Advised to Register With Valid and Active E-mail Address in the Online Application. Document Verification Schedule and Requirements With Regard to Copies of Certifcates to Be Submitted in Respect of Claims Made in the Online Application, Will Be Intimated to the Candidates Through the Website of the Commission in Due Course of Time.
4. After creating an account, applicants need to login with the credentials.
5. After login, applicants need to provide One Time Registration details such as Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB and not older than 3 months) & Signature (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB) and other required documents. Once these details are submitted, applicants will be able to download the One Time Registration details. Then applicants can click on Applicant Section => Apply Section link for application form submission.
