Qualification for APPSC Recruitment 2024
- According to the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) norms, teacher educators for D.El.Ed programs should have the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Social Science, Humanities, Science, Mathematics, or Language with at least 50% marks.
- Additionally, they should have an M.Ed. with at least 50% marks, or an MA in Education with at least 50% marks.
Pay Scale for APPSC Recruitment 2024
The pay scale for the position of Lecturer (DIET) in the Department of State Council of Educational Research & Training, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, is set at Pay Matrix Level-9. The salary ranges from Rs. 53,100 to Rs. 1,67,800 per month, classified under Group-"B" Gazetted.
Age Limit for APPSC Recruitment 2024
- The maximum age limit is 35 years as of 04.09.2024.
- However, the upper age limit is relaxable according to the orders issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.
- Departmental candidates with 3 years of continuous service will receive an additional 5 years of age relaxation, in addition to the standard age relaxation applicable for Group A and B posts by direct recruitment.
- This relaxation applies if it can be demonstrated that the service rendered in the current position is relevant and beneficial for the efficient performance of the advertised post(s).
Application Fee for APPSC Recruitment 2024
Candidates are required to pay fee of 2150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty) only for APST candidate and Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only for other Applicants. Pwd candidates are exempted from payment of application fee as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018
Selection Procedure for APPSC Recruitment 2024
- Selection will be made through a Viva-Voce/Interview.
- If the number of applicants exceeds the desired ratio, the Commission may conduct a Recruitment Test, with details to be notified separately.
- The Recruitment Test, if conducted, may include objective and/or subjective questions related to the concerned subject.
- The tentative date for the Recruitment Test is 29.09.2024. Candidates applying for the Lecturer (DIET) position in the Science subject may choose to appear in either Biology, Physics, or Chemistry papers.
- Those applying for the Lecturer (DIET) position in the Social Science subject may choose to appear in either Economics, Geography, History, or Political Science papers.
APPSC Recruitment 2024 Last Date to Apply
- Candidates must complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) before filling the online application form for the advertised post.
- If you have already registered in OTR, you do not need to register again. Use your existing user ID and password to log in and fill out the online form.
- Apply online at https://appsc.gov.in.
- Detailed instructions for OTR and the online application process are available on the APPSC website.
- Submit only one application. If multiple applications are submitted, only the application with the highest Registration ID (RID) will be considered. Ensure that this application is complete in all respects. Fees paid for one RID will not be transferred to another RID.
- Government employees must also apply directly on the APPSC website.
- They need to upload a copy of the intimation submitted to their Heads of Department or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their department.
- The online application submission link will be active from 16:00 hrs on 16.08.2024 until 17:00 hrs on 04.09.2024.
Documents Required for APPSC Recruitment 2024
- Signature: A scanned copy of the candidate's signature on white paper with a black ink pen (40-50 KB, in JPG format).
- Photograph: A recent color passport-size photo (40-100 KB, in JPG format), with a white background, facing front, and without headgear or sunglasses.
- Master's Degree Certificates: Self-attested photocopies of Master’s degree certificates and mark sheets, issued by the Assistant Registrar, Registrar, Controller of Examination, or Vice-Chancellor of the concerned university.
- Matriculation Certificate: Self-attested photocopy of the Matriculation Certificate for age proof, issued by the Board only.
- APST Certificate and Identification: Self-attested photocopy of APST certificate for APST candidates and Aadhar Card/PRC/EPIC for other applicants.
- PwBD Certificate: For candidates with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), a disability certificate issued by the certifying authority as per Section 57 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
