The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites online applications from Indian citizens to fill 05 (five) Laboratory Assistant (Civil) positions at Gort Polytechnic under the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Arunachal Pradesh. Qualification for APPSC Recruitment 2024
For the position of Laboratory Assistant (Civil), candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by AICTE.
Pay Scale for APPSC Recruitment 2024
These positions are classified as Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Non-Ministerial, with a Pay Matrix Level-6, offering a salary range of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400.
Age Limit for APPSC Recruitment 2024
Not exceeding 35 years of age as on 15.09.2024. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with orders issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.
Application Fee for APPSC Recruitment 2024

APST (Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe) candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty) only.

PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates are exempt from paying the application fee, as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018.
Selection Procedure for APPSC Recruitment 2024
Selection will be conducted through a Common Examination Scheme, which includes the following components:
- General English: 100 marks
- General Knowledge: 100 marks (objective type/multiple choice questions)
- Civil Engineering: 100 marks (descriptive type)
- Viva Voce: 40 marks
Total Marks: 340
Candidates who are appearing in the final year examination of the qualifying degree are eligible to apply. However, their candidature will only be finalized upon submission of proof of passing the qualifying examination in original on or before the interview date set by the Commission. Failure to provide this proof will result in disqualification from appearing in the Interview/Viva Voce.
Please note that the General Knowledge section will consist of objective-type/multiple-choice questions, while the other subjects will be in descriptive format.

- Before completing the Online Application Form for the advertised position, candidates must register for One-Time Registration (OTR).
- Candidates who have already completed the OTR process need not register again. They can directly log in to fill out the online form using their existing user ID and password.
- Candidates must apply online at https://appsc.gov.in. Detailed instructions for One-Time Registration (OTR) and the Online Application process are available on the APPSC website (https://appsc.gov.in).
- Applicants should submit only one application. If multiple applications are submitted due to unavoidable circumstances, only the application with the highest Registration ID (RID) will be considered.
- Ensure that this application is complete in all respects. Fees paid for one RID cannot be transferred to another RID.
- Applicants currently in government service must also apply directly on the APPSC website. They need to upload either a copy of the intimation submitted to their respective Heads of Department or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their department.
- The online application submission link will be active from 17:00 hours on 23.08.2024 until 17:00 hours on 15.09.2024 on the APPSC website.
