TISS Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details
Leave vacancy for the position of 01 Woman/Female Social Worker for fixed-term from 1 of March 2024 to the 31st of August 2024 at pilot Special Cell for Women, Bandipora district, Kashmir Division, J&K -established with/in J&K Police, by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, with support of National Commission for Women (Government of India). This position is for the said fixed term in lieu of the person availing leave under the Maternity Benefit Act.
TISS Recruitment 2024 Eligibility criteria
- Woman with post-graduate degree in Social Work (M.A. in Social Work/MSW) from Central/Deemed/State- Recognized University with one year of relevant work experience on violence against women and children.
- Proficiency in local language. Willingness to travel across the allotted district regularly; willingness to travel within UT of J&K and occasionally to other States/UTs as per programme requirement.
- Working knowledge of English and comfort with the use of computers.
TISS Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- Age group of 22-50 years.
TISS Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale
- The position is full-time and based in Bandipora district of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
- The selected social worker will be contractually employed and will be paid a consolidated honorarium of INR 28,000/- per month.
- Once appointed, the social worker will be expected to reside in the Bandipora district, for the duration of their appointment at Special Cell for Women.
