The Staff Selection Commission will hold a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination on 10.05.2024 at Delhi only for making additions to the Select List of Junior Secretariat Assistant/Lower Division Clerk Grade in {Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 - Rs.63,200)} of the following Services/ Cadres (subject to availability of vacancies)
SSC Recruitment 2024 Qualification
He must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent. etc
SSC Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
The maximum age limit for eligibility for examination is 45 years. (50 years of age for Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes).
Selection Process for SSC Recruitment 2024
- The candidate must note that the Examination shall be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission in Delhi only.
- Information about the Examination indicating the time table and City/Centre of examination for the candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Northern Regional Office of the Commission, https://sscnr.nic.in about two weeks before the date of examination.
- If any candidate does not find his details on the website of Northern Regional Office of the Commission, one week before the date of examination, he must immediately contact the Northern Regional Office of the Commission with proof of having submitted his application failing which he will deprive himself of any claim for consideration of candidature for the examination.
- The Commission reserves the right to cancel any centre and ask the candidates of that centre to appear at another centre. Commission also reserves the right to divert candidates of any Centre to some other Centre to take the examination.

How to apply for SSC Recruitment 2024
The process of filling online application for the examination consists of two parts:
- One Time Registration
- Filling of online Application for the Examination
- Read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination carefully before filling up the online 'Registration Form' and “Application Form”.
- Before proceeding with One-Time Registration, keep the following information/ documents ready: a. Mobile Number(to be verified through OTP)
- Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
- Aadhaar Number. If Aadhaar Number is not available, please give one of the following ID Numbers.(You will be required to show the original document at a later stage):
- Voter ID Card
- PAN
- Passport
- Driving License
- School/College ID
- Employer ID(Govt./ PSU/ Private)
- Information about the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination.
- Disability Certificate Number, if you are a person with benchmark disability.
- For One-Time Registration, click on “Register Now” link provided in “Login” Section on https://ssc.nic.in.
- One-Time Registration process requires filling up of following information:
- Basic details
- Additional and contact details
- Declaration.
