SJVN Limited, a Mini Ratna: Category-I and Schedule – ‘A’ CPSE under administrative control of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, was incorporated on May 24, 1988 under the companies act, 1956 as a joint venture of the Government of India (GoI) and the Government of Himachal Pradesh (GoHP).
SJVN became a listed company in 2010, with shareholding of 59.92% with Govt. of India, 26.85% with Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and rest 13.23% with public. The present authorized and paid up capital of SJVN is Rs. 7,000 crores and Rs. 3,929.80 Crore respectively as on 31.03.2023.
SJVN Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- The applicant should be Engineering Graduate/ Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/ Post Graduate/ Graduate with MBA/ PGDIM from a leading institute.
- The applicant should possess cumulative experience/ exposure for at least 5 years during the last 10 years in Finance/ Business Development/ Production/ Operations/ Marketing/ HR/ Personal Management/ IR/ Project Management in a large organization of repute. Experience in Power Sector/ large hydro projects is preferable.

- Age of superannuation 60 years
- Internal: Minimum, 45 Maximum, 2 years residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation.
- Others: Minimum, 45 Maximum, 3 years residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation.
